About Our Pastors

Apostle C.E. Brown was born on July 2, 1950. He accepted Christ as his Personal Savior in 1976. He was called into the ministry in 1977.  Charles Brown was an Ordained Deacon and licensed at Trinity Missionary Church. He was ordained Minister of Music, Sunday School Teacher & Associate Pastor at Hands of Christ Missionary Baptist Church. He was the Associate Pastor at Morning View as well as Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. He also served as the Sunday School Teacher at Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. He has pastored Hands of Christ Church for 17 years where he is currently serving.

He is married to Pastor Jacqueline Brown and to their union they have three beautiful children: Regan (A.J.) Russell, Shaniqua (Dale) Starks, and Walter (Ty) Brown. He is the grandfather of eight and a spiritual father of many.  Apostle Browns’ objective is to ensure a pastorate where he is able to exercise his spiritual gifts and enhance the body of Christ, through preaching, teaching and making disciples through growth.

Pastor J. Brown first learned about the Lord as a girl attending 35th Street M.B.C. with her beloved parents. She accepted Christ in her life in early 1989 and her family was led to worship Christ at Morning View M.B.C. Her personal Christian journey truly began in 2002 after her husband, Apostle Charles Brown, was called into pastoral ship and she became First Lady of Hands of Christ. In early 2012, she answered the Lord’s call into the ministry and in August of 2012, she delivered her first sermon.
